New painting

Here are a few photos of the painting that I've just finished.

  1. Nice painting man. I also notice that you used screws to hold in your canvas. Good thinking!!! I'd like to try that, I've had an issue with cast shadow from my easel. Anyway great work, I got a lot out of the step by step.

    I'm touched that you found it interesting.

    I use the screws to keep the top and bottom of the canvas free so I can brush past the canvas and not have anything stop the brush. I could see that it would help with keeping cast shadows off the canvas as well.

    I'll post some photos soon of my difference easels and the screws I've used.

It is so much about seeing and then translating what you see to make such beautiful paintings. Your demo really helps others to see, I will be coming back to it again and again :)
