Nice painting man. I also notice that you used screws to hold in your canvas. Good thinking!!! I'd like to try that, I've had an issue with cast shadow from my easel. Anyway great work, I got a lot out of the step by step.

I use the screws to keep the top and bottom of the canvas free so I can brush past the canvas and not have anything stop the brush. I could see that it would help with keeping cast shadows off the canvas as well.
I'll post some photos soon of my difference easels and the screws I've used.
